VIII. Gay Games Cologne 2010

The cities of Cologne and Roermond will have a special liason between July 31 and August 7, 2010.  During this time, Cologne will host the Gay Games with 10.000 participants from 70 different countries. Roermond will join in these festivities with a sports event of its own for the Gay Games.
 

Together with COC Limburg, the sailing club "Maas and Roer" has organised a sailing competition for participants of the Gay Games. Independently of this sports event, both competitors with their entourage and the people of Roermond may join in an special event in Roermonds city center, regardless of their sexual orientation. This ties in with the motto of the 2010 Gay Games: 'Be part of it'. Therefore, all are welcome. I hope we will meet each other in Cologne or in the other pearl of a city: ROERMOND…!
