The Gesamtschule Holweide, in the Holweide suburb of Cologne, across the Rhine from downtown. To reach the sport hall from downtown Cologne, take the U-18 from Neumarkt or Dom/Hauptbahnhof, direction Thielenbruch, or U-3 from Friesenplatz or Neumarkt, direction Thielenbruch. The stop is Wichheimer Strasse, it is a 10-minute walk from the stop.
Exiting the train, take a right on Wichheimer Strasse, across bridge over the autobahn. Just past the bridge turn right onto the bike/walking path. Walk down path 150 meters, then turn left on another walking path, across creek, by soccer fields and winter soccer/outdoor basketball area. The Sport Hall is 200 meters from the turn on the left side at the gate.

Vierfachsporthalle Nicolaus-August-Otto-Berufskolleg

Cologne-Deutz

The Nicolas August Otto Berufskolleg is located in the Deutz section of Cologne, near the Laxess Arena and the Köln Messe. The venue is reached by public transit. Take the U-1 (direction Bensberg) or U-9 (direction Königsforst) from Neumarkt. Use the Deutz-Kalker Bad stop, and use the "Deutz Kalker Strasse" exit.
After exiting the stop, walk a short distance to the corner of the Deutz Kalker Strasse and the Reitweg, and then turn right onto the Reitweg.
Walk down the Reitweg 275 meters to the parking lot on the right side, in front of the Sport Hall.

Dreifachsporthalle Joseph-DuMont-Berufskolleg

The Joseph DuMont Berufskolleg, located on Escherstrasse just north of the U-13 train stop, is a newer facility that will be an excellent location for the volleyball tournament. The facility is easily reached by public transportation, approximately 15 minutes from several downtown locations. Line U-13 travels around the “Gürtel” (“belt”) of the city, so to get to the U-13 trains one must connect from another line. The best connections from the Neumarkt are from U-3, direction Mengenich, or U-4, direction Bocklemund. From both lines change to U-13, direction Thielenbruch, at Venloer Strasse/Gürtel. The best connections from Dom/Hauptbahnhof (Cathedral/Central Station) are by using S-11, direction Neuss/Düsseldorf, changing at K Geldernstrasse/Parkgürtel to U-13, direction Sülzgürtel. Once on U-13, use the Escherstrasse stop.
Exit from the stop and turn right onto Escher Strasse, crossing the street to left side. Joseph Dumont Berufskolleg is 150 meters from stop across from the Shell Station. Enter into the left building.

The sport hall at the Eirch Gutenberg Berufskolleg is located in Buchheim, an area of Cologne just across the river from downtown. It is reached by public transport by taking the U-3 train from Neumarkt, direction Thielenbruch, about a 15-20 minute ride to the Buchheim Frankfurter Strasse stop.
From the stop it is about a 10 minute walk to the sport hall. Exit to Frankfurter Strasse, left on same side of the street, and walk about 200 meters past bus stop to first major street, turn left, then immediate right onto Modemannstrasse (following signs to Gymnasium and Berufskolleg).
Walk down Modemannstrasse 200 meters, school entrance is on left at gate, go in main entrance.

The sport hall at the Kreuzgasse Gymnasium (High School) is in one of the beautiful ring parks that circle the city. The venue is close to several public transit options. The easiest is to take the U-1, direction Köln-Welden West, or U-7, direction Frechen-Benzelrath, from Nuemarket or Rudolfplatz. The stop is the Universitätsstrasse.
From the Universitatstrasse Stop, exit and turn right, across Aachener Strasse, walk north toward the big Radio/TV tower, into the park. Enter the park either from Aachener Strasse (50 meters from corner, past "Wein Depot", turn left into park) or from Innere Kanalstrasse (50 meters north of intersection, using path into the park). In the park, walk north toward the big Radio/TV tower.
The path is next to soccer field and track and leads to the Krenzgasse Gymnasium entrance on the left side. The Sporthalle entrance is on the left side, beside the Casino, through the gate.
It is a 5-10 minute walk from stop, about 400 meters. Another alternative is to walk from Rudolfsplatz along Aachener Strasse to the park and then north toward the Radio/TV tower, a 20 to 30-minute walk of about 1.5 kilometers or 1 mile.

Dreifachsporthalle Realschule
Neusserstr. 421
Cologne-Nippes

The sport hall at the Peter Ustinov Realschule is one of the closest venues to mass transit, being located on Neusserstrasse at the intersection with the Gürtel. To get to this venue using public transportation, use U-12, direction Merkenich, or U-15, direction Chorweiler, from the Rudolfplatz stop.
Go up the steps and then use the Neusser Strasse/Nieler Kirchweg exit.
Entrance to Realschule Peter Ustinov is at the top of the stairs, enter through gate.

Dreifachsporthalle Herler Ring
Cologne-Muelheim

The Herler Ring sports hall is located in the Mülheim area of Cologne, across the river from downtown. To reach the sport hall from downtown Cologne, take the U-18 from Neumarkt or Dom/Hauptbahnhof, direction Thielenbruch, or U-3 from Friesenplatz or Neumarkt, direction Thielenbruch. The stop is Wichheimer Strasse, it is a 10-minute walk from the stop.
From the Wichheimer Strasse stop turn left on Wichheimer Strasse, 275 meters to the Herler Ring (four lane highway), cross street and then left along Herler Ring, about 200 meters, left onto small street that goes into large gravel parking lot at a sign.
Gym is behind the parking lot, the entrance is in the back.
