The villages are open until midnight!!!
Rudolfplatz
During Gay Games VIII - Cologne 2010 Rudolfplatz is one of the central meeting-points for all Gay Games athletes and visitors. Every thing is possible at Rudolfplatz. You can communicate at the Info-Point, fall in love under the romantic town-gate called “Hahnentor”, singing in front of the stage, or dancing at the cocktail-bar. In this village young gay people, can meet leather guys, lesbian motorcyclists, or even meet drama-queens. Here sporty people meet couch-potatoes. The Village Rudolfplatz certainly connects the gay-lesbian scene with the heterosexual inhabitants of Co-logne, following the motto: ”Be part of it!”. Placed between the most famous gay quarter “Beermuda-Triangle” with many gay-bars and the shopping streets “Ehren-strasse“ and “Mittelstrasse” the Rudolfplatz will also be melting pot of different cultures.
Food and drinks are served by the bars of the Beermuda-Triangle. The pleasant highlight will be the typical german beer-garden for more than 1000 guests. Cosy at-mosphere, friendliness, beer, sausages and pretzel… here you are sitting between friends, here you can refresh after the competition and perhaps here you can find a new partner, even for life, or only for one night… who knows?Welcome to the Rudolfplatz-Village!!!
