| Christoph Gaspers-Carouge, 43 - Infrastructure |
![]() |
Christoph Gaspers-Carouge, born on 03/15/1968 in Mönchengladbach, the portal to the Lower Rhine. I have been with my man Philippe for 12 years, and we got married 5 years ago. I have to thank Philippe, that I am active for the Gay Games today. After he came back totally passionate from the Gay Games in Sydney in 2002, it was clear to me, that I – a passionate sailor – wanted to take part with my team in Chicago 2006. Once in Chicago, I was very quickly asked by the other sailing teams, to check if we couldn’t offer sailing at Gay Games VIII in Cologne. That’s how my competition concept for sailing quickly was part of the Gay Games in Cologne and I became a sports expert right in the middle of it. Through this arrangement and my appointment to the board of the worldwide gay and lesbian sailing association, GLORY Sailing, and the thereby closeness to the FGG, began my work as leader of the working group Infrastructure within the steering committee of the Gay Games VIII, Cologne, Germany.
One who has experienced the spirit and the ambience of the Gay Games will not be released by it. I am convinced that we like Cologne Gay Games, give this same spirit to the world and will build an unforgettable games. |
