Description
In the Old Town in the area near the city hall, you will hear a question about Cologne's founder-was Agrippina really a murderess?-and about Cologne's famous postmistress who was burned as a "witch." You will learn about local peculiarities such as the "Women's Day" celebrated during Cologne's famous carnival as well as the city's unique medieval women's guilds. Together we will visit the "Women's Fountain" and mikvah (Jewish ritual bath). We will also speak about the women's guild which existed only in Cologne.
